- Airborne artillery destroyed observation posts and a warehouse of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region

Artillery crews of the airborne forces of the North group of forces destroyed observation posts and an ammunition depot of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the border area of the Kursk region. This was announced on April 4 by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
"The gunners of the Tula unit of the Airborne Forces of the Sever group of forces daily deliver precise strikes against exposed objects, positions, armored vehicles and manpower of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the border area of the Kursk region," the ministry said.
During combat work, the crews have literally a few minutes to occupy firing positions, calculate the initial firing data, and fire the first shot. In such conditions, every soldier clearly knows his task and purpose.
"Thanks to the coordination of calculations, the courage and heroism of the paratrooper gunners, the task was completed, the enemy personnel, as well as the field ammunition depot hidden in the forest, were destroyed," the Defense Ministry summed up.
On April 4, the Ministry of Defense reported that Russian motorized rifle units had used a drone to destroy a camouflaged mortar control point of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), as well as hit an enemy dugout. It is specified that all targets were detected during aerial reconnaissance. The AFU soldiers placed the mortar control point in one of the abandoned buildings.
