Kirill Dmitriev, CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for Investment and Economic cooperation with foreign countries, is discussing the conflict in Ukraine during a visit to Washington. This was announced on Thursday, April 3, by the American leader Donald Trump.

"Yes, indeed, a special envoy from Russia flew to us. We are discussing this [the Ukrainian conflict]. We would like this to stop as soon as possible," he said, answering questions from reporters aboard Air Force One, a video posted on the White House YouTube channel.

The Head of State noted that Europe has not achieved success in its relations with Russian President Vladimir Putin. At the same time, he added that he expects to achieve this himself.
