Spartak reached the 1/4 finals of the Gagarin Cup following the match with Severstal

On April 3, Spartak Moscow Hockey Club completed the winning match of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) against the Severstal team from Cherepovets.
The confrontation on the ice arena ended with a score of 5:2 in favor of the red and white. Thus, the club reached the quarterfinals of the Gagarin Cup final.
The game was held at the Megasport Arena in Moscow. Alexey Belov and Yuri Oskirko became the main judges, Sport-Express clarifies.
Spartak currently occupies the third place in the Western Conference ranking. Severstal, in turn, is on the sixth floor.
Earlier, on April 1, Severstal defeated Spartak in the home match of the first round of the KHL playoffs. At the end of the game, the score in the series of up to four wins for Spartak was 3:1. The match was held in Cherepovets at the UIA "Ice Palace" stadium. 5,294 spectators watched the match from the stands.
