Skoda unveiled the brand's fastest car

Skoda has introduced the Elroq electric crossover in a new RS modification. It is the most dynamic production model in the modern line of the brand, the press service of the Czech manufacturer announced on April 3.

The Skoda Elroq RS is equipped with a four-wheel drive twin-engine system. The power plant has 340 hp. It allows you to accelerate from a standstill to 100 km / h in 5.4 seconds, the maximum speed is 180 km / h. With an 84-kilowatt battery, the SUV is able to travel up to 550 km on a single charge.

The Skoda Elroq model made its debut six months ago, initially it was offered with one or two engines, the power of which ranged from 170 hp (basic version) to 299 hp (flagship).

Externally, the RS-version features a styling package with black accents and a more aggressive body kit, while the interior has received different trim materials and color solutions. By default, the Elroq RS is equipped with an understated suspension and more powerful brakes, optionally the electric car will be available with an adaptive chassis.

Earlier in the day, AvtoVAZ announced the start of sales of Lada Largus in a dual-fuel CNG modification. Such a car can run on both gasoline and natural gas (methane), which is pumped into three steel cylinders with a total volume of about 90 liters. Running on natural gas can reduce fuel costs by 2.5 times. When fully refueled, Largus CNG has a range of more than 1,000 km, according to the company.
