The Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle with the Soyuz MS-27 manned transport spacecraft will launch from the Baikonur cosmodrome on Tuesday, April 8. Izvestia is broadcasting the launch.

The spacecraft will carry participants of the 73rd main expedition to the International Space Station (ISS).

Earlier, on February 28, the Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle with the Progress MS-30 cargo ship, which carried fuel, provisions and sanitary facilities with a total weight of almost 2.6 tons, launched from Baikonur. Progress-MS-30 docked to the ISS on March 2.
