A court in Moscow has arrested a Cuban citizen in a murder case.

The Nikulinsky District Court of Moscow has arrested Benitez Rojas Lazaro Mckdiel, a Cuban citizen, in a murder case in the west of the city. This was reported on April 3 in the Telegram channel of the courts of general jurisdiction of the capital.

According to the investigation, a Cuban man stabbed his colleague at a construction site. The man died on the spot from his injuries.

"The investigator's request for a preventive measure in the form of detention against Benitez Poxaca Lazaro Mckdiel has been granted," the press service of the courts of general jurisdiction said.

They clarified that the Cuban citizen was arrested under Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Murder") for a period of 1 month and 29 days.
