The most popular used cars among Russians are named

In the first quarter of 2025, Russians were most often interested in cars with Lada mileage, and the Priora turned out to be the most popular model. This was reported to Izvestia on April 4 by Avito Auto experts, who analyzed data on the supply and prices of used passenger cars on the platform.

The Lada brand accounted for 27.8% of the user interest. Besides her, Toyota (7.1%), Hyundai (5.1%), Kia (4.9%) and Volkswagen (4.6%) entered the top five.

Among the models, Lada Priora, Granta, 2114 Samara and 2107 were the most in demand. Toyota Camry closes the top five, followed by Lada Kalina, 4x4 (Niva), Ford Focus, Hyundai Solaris and Lada 2110.

The most expensive in the top ten most popular models was the Toyota Camry (2.15 million rubles), the price of each of the others is below the mark of 1 million rubles.

Lada cars accounted for the largest number of ads on the platform (20.3%). The shares of other brands in the top five (Toyota, Kia, Hyundai and Volkswagen). Lada Granta and Priora, Ford Focus, Hyundai Solaris and Lada Kalina models have the most ads for sale.

The day before, it was reported that total sales of new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Russia in March 2025 amounted to 83.1 thousand units, which is 45% less than in March last year. Over the past 10 years, the March results were worse in percentage terms only in 2022 (-59%), and in the first quarter — in 2015 (-36%).
