Zelensky has allowed a cease-fire in the coming weeks or months

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky considers it possible to reach an agreement on a complete ceasefire in the coming weeks or months. He announced this on April 3 at a meeting with representatives of the territorial communities of the Chernihiv region.
"I think it's possible to do this as soon as possible, in the coming weeks, maybe months. It can be different, sometimes everything happens in one moment," he said at a speech broadcast by his office.
Zelensky clarified that he allows the completion of the "hot phase" of the conflict and a complete ceasefire within the specified time frame.
On the same day, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that the Kiev regime was trying to disrupt the dialogue between Russia and the United States using terrorist methods.
On March 25, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov pointed out Kiev's inability to negotiate after the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) struck the Sudzha gas measuring station in the Kursk region. He called the attack the reason why it is currently impossible to trust the Ukrainian side and make peace with it.
