Vance denies rumors about Musk's resignation

American businessman Elon Musk will continue to work in the US administration as an adviser to President Donald Trump, as his fight against the "uncontrolled bureaucracy" in the country is not over yet. This was announced on April 3 by American Vice President J. D. Vance.
"Elon came in, and we said, 'We need you to make the government more efficient, we need you to reduce the incredible, huge bureaucratic apparatus that impedes the will of the American people and costs too much money,'" he told Fox News.
According to Vance, Musk has already identified large-scale fraud schemes. He described the businessman as a close ally of the administration, friend and adviser.
In addition, the Vice president of the United States added that the work will continue even after the billionaire's departure from the Department of Public Administration Efficiency (DOGE).
As Politico reported the day before, citing sources, Trump told his entourage that Musk would leave the post of head of DOGE in the coming weeks. After leaving, he may retain the unofficial role of advisor.
