Deputy Mayor Sergunina spoke about the popularity of the Museum Moscow Online project

More than 130,000 exhibits from the funds of the capital's institutions can already be seen on the Museum Moscow Online portal. These are paintings, sculptures, rare books, archaeological finds from different eras, personal belongings of scientists, composers, writers, artists, artists and other figures.

According to Deputy Mayor of Moscow Natalia Sergunina, the digital collection is regularly updated. "In a few years, a small online project has turned into a large cultural venue attracting hundreds of thousands of people. In 2024 alone, it was visited two million times, an increase of 15% over the year," Sergunina said.

Currently, more than 40 metropolitan museums are represented on the platform, in particular, the Museum of Moscow, the State Darwin Museum, the Battle of Borodino Panorama Museum, the Museum of Cosmonautics and the Kolomenskoye Museum Reserve.

The portal currently hosts more than 1.3 thousand online exhibitions, including those dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, which is being celebrated this year. Interesting exhibits and entire exhibitions can be found using the search function in the digital gallery.
