New sexual assault lawsuit filed against rapper P. Diddy

A new sexual assault lawsuit has been filed against rap artist P. Diddy (real name Sean Combs). This was reported on April 2 by USA Today, citing a court document.
"In a lawsuit filed on April 1 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, Joseph Manzaro is suing the distressed music mogul for sexual exploitation as part of a targeted revenge plot in 2015," the material says.
According to the 64-page document, the plaintiff accuses Combs and a number of people close to him of human trafficking, obstruction of justice and witness manipulation, extortion and intentional infliction of moral damage.
"P. Diddy organized and facilitated violence, coercion, and intimidation of [Manzaro], using his influence, wealth, and power to silence and control him, and participated in acts of violence, sexual coercion, and psychological manipulation, knowingly causing grievous harm while making it impossible to achieve justice," the lawsuit says.
On February 5, the media reported new sexual harassment claims against P. Diddy. Two women have also filed lawsuits alleging that they were drugged and raped at parties organized in the 1990s. Another man claimed that Combs harassed him at a party in 2015.
Earlier, on September 17, 2024, rapper P. Diddy was taken into custody in New York by court order. It was clarified that in 2023, P. Diddy's ex-girlfriend accused him of human trafficking and years of violence. On the day of his arrest, the rapper was charged with organizing prostitution and human trafficking. A court hearing to consider Combs' case is scheduled for May 5, 2025.
