Two victims of the fire at the Onega Shipyard in Petrozavodsk remain in intensive care, their condition is stable and serious. This was announced on April 3 by Vasily Senchukov, Acting head of the Intensive Care Unit of the Republican Hospital for Emergency and Emergency Medical Care.

"Two young people were taken to the hospital from the scene of the fire. The condition was assessed as severe. They were immediately taken to the intensive care unit. A set of measures aimed at stabilizing the condition was implemented," Mikhail Okhlopkov, Minister of Health of Karelia, was quoted as saying in the Telegram channel.

One of the victims has a severe inhalation injury, the other has gorenje poisoning. At the moment, they are on artificial ventilation.

The fire at the Onega Shipbuilding and Ship Repair plant on an area of 1.5 thousand square meters in Karelia occurred on the same day. Later it was liquidated, and the shedding of structures began. As a result of the incident, three people were injured.

The Ministry of Health of the region reported that the victims of the fire are in intensive care in serious condition. The V.A. Baranov Republican Hospital has been transferred to an enhanced and increased alert mode for prevention purposes. The Prosecutor's Office of Karelia organized an inspection in connection with the emergency.
