Sobyanin spoke about the development of special medical cables in Moscow

Moscow medical equipment manufacturers have been supplied with a new development — special medical cables, said Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.

"They contain ultrathin wires for neuro— and pacemakers, cables for Holter heart monitoring," Sobyanin said.

According to him, the capital's industrial complex was the first in Russia to develop such cables. Among the qualities of the products are durability and reliability with minimal dimensions. "For example, the conductive wires for neuro- and pacemakers are comparable in thickness to a human hair," the mayor said.

The company is preparing for serial production of cables. The products were created as part of the import substitution program.

In 2022, the plant developed a cable for an artificial heart, which provides power and stable operation of the device, allows you to control the parameters using a remote control.

Sobyanin stressed that due to the status of the industrial complex, the tax burden on the enterprise has decreased, and the received preferential investment loan has helped expand the fleet of production equipment.
