Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on April 3 that Finland would have to work hard to normalize relations with Russia.

"Just a call thrown into space is clearly not enough. The current Finnish leadership will have to do a lot. Apart from words, just take some concrete steps and actions. Stop pumping up Finland's information space with baseless anti—Russian narratives," Zakharova said at a briefing.

The diplomat also called on Helsinki to reconsider its military policy and abandon the persecution of citizens who support the normalization of relations with Russia.
