Military personnel of the Vostok group of forces killed up to 100 Ukrainian soldiers during the liberation of the village of Veseloe in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). This was announced on April 3 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"The stormtroopers carried out a sweep of buildings and basements. In total, more than 200 buildings were cleared, and up to 100 Ukrainian militants were destroyed," the statement said.

The ministry added that the Russian army also hit three armored combat vehicles and eight military vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). In addition, at the moment, military personnel are conducting mine clearance of the area from explosive objects.
