UAZ has started equipping cars with an improved multimedia system

Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant has started equipping the UAZ Patriot and Pickup models with the advanced UAZ Navi multimedia system. The factory's Telegram channel reported this on April 3.

The new system features more powerful quad-core central and graphics processors with improved architecture running the Android 10.0 operating system. They are responsible for the speed of processing and playback quality of media files from various sources.

The amount of RAM and internal memory has also been increased (2 and 32 GB, respectively), which increases the speed and reaction speed when launching applications, and also allows you to store more information in the device. In addition, the complex is equipped with a Bluetooth 5.0 module.

It is not specified whether the price of cars with the installation of a modified UAZ Navi will change.

The day before, it was reported that the Sollers Transmission Manufacturing company began mass production of new manual transmissions for UAZ Profi and Sollers models. UAZ Profi semi-trucks with rear-axle drive and diesel engine will be put on the UAZ conveyor in April 2025.

On March 27, it became known that the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant will soon begin equipping cars of the new and old UAZ model ranges with engines of an improved design. The improved ZMZ 409th family engines will receive the Patriot, Pickup, Pro and Loaf models.
