Lavrov stated about maintaining a high level of cooperation with Armenia

Russia and Armenia, despite attempts to undermine relations between the countries from the outside, manage to maintain a high level of political dialogue. This was announced on April 3 by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in a congratulatory message to Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan on the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Moscow and Yerevan.

"Despite attempts from the outside to undermine the Russian-Armenian alliance, we manage to maintain a high level of political dialogue and foreign policy coordination, and increase trade and economic cooperation both bilaterally and in the format of a common integration space," reads the congratulatory message posted on the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

Lavrov noted that the Russian Federation is ready to continue working together to further deepen partnership for the benefit of the citizens of both countries, as well as in the interests of strengthening peace in the South Caucasus.

In addition, Mirzoyan, in his message to the Russian minister, noted the importance of continuing partnership and cooperation between the countries in all areas.

"In today's changing architecture of international relations, it is important to continue our partnership based on the interests of our states and for the benefit of our countries and peoples," the Armenian Foreign Ministry said in a Telegram channel.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on March 21 that Russia is ready to develop relations with Armenia in every possible way. He noted that the ties between Moscow and Yerevan have not been interrupted. According to the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, Armenia is a friendly and sovereign state with which Russia has many things in common.
