Vilfand predicted a temporary snow cover in Moscow next week

The snow cover, which is expected on April 6 in Moscow, will not melt next week, and the air temperature at night may drop to -6 degrees. This was announced by the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia Roman Vilfand on Thursday, April 3.
He noted that a temporary snow cover will form by the end of the day on Sunday.
"Negative night temperatures are forecast for next week, and a very small plus during the day, and therefore temporary snow cover will remain. Precipitation will be very light, there will definitely be no snowdrifts," Vilfand told the Moscow City News agency.
According to the forecaster, the air temperature in the capital will drop to -6 degrees next week at night.
In turn, the chief specialist of the Meteonovosti news agency, Tatyana Pozdnyakova, told RT that in places the height of the snow cover may exceed 10 cm.
On the eve of the head of the forecasting center "METEO" Alexander Shuvalov told in an interview with 360.ru snowfall and sub-zero temperatures are expected to return to Moscow by the end of this week. He added that the winter weather will remain in the capital until mid-April, according to the website. kp.ru .
Earlier, on April 2, Vilfand said that the air temperature in Moscow will drop by eight degrees over the weekend compared to the beginning of the week.
