- The Foreign Ministry pointed out the unacceptability of threats of attacks on Iran's nuclear facilities.

Threats of attacks on Iran's nuclear energy infrastructure are unacceptable, as they can lead to irreversible radiological and humanitarian consequences. This was announced on April 3 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.
"Threats from outside to carry out, for example, bombing of Iran's nuclear energy infrastructure, which will inevitably lead to large-scale and irreversible radiological and humanitarian consequences for the entire Middle East region and the world as a whole, they are simply unacceptable," she said at a briefing.
Zakharova stressed that the use of military force by Iran's opponents in the context of the settlement is "illegal and unacceptable."
She added that Moscow supports a diplomatic settlement of the situation around the Iranian nuclear program and considers it important to take into account Tehran's right to peaceful use of atomic energy within the framework of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons.
Earlier, on April 2, it was reported that US President Donald Trump threatened Iran with "disappearance by September" if the country does not agree to the nuclear deal and does not curtail its program. Trump has already warned Iran that there will be bombing if the deal is not concluded, and ordered additional forces to be sent to the Middle East.
On the same day, it became known that the United States and Israel could strike Iran in order to allegedly eliminate the threat posed by its nuclear program. It is specified that the countries are preparing for a military operation against Tehran.
Prior to that, on February 25, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that there was a resource for diplomacy on Iran's nuclear program. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi, in turn, said that at the moment there is no dialogue with the United States on the nuclear deal. According to him, Tehran will continue its relations with Beijing and Moscow on this issue.
