In the Ukrainian underground gas storage facilities (UGS), the level of resource reserves reached an absolute minimum during the observation period. Gazprom announced this on April 3.

"As of March 31, the volume of gas in storage is only 5.4 billion cubic meters [including buffer gas]. In general, by the end of the first quarter, 7.3 billion cubic meters were collected this season, which is one third more than was pumped in the summer," Gazprom's Telegram channel reported.

According to information from Gas Infrastructure Europe (GIE) on March 31, European reserves, in turn, decreased to 34.3 billion cubic meters, which is a third of the storage volume. This figure decreased by 25.3 billion cubic meters compared to last year.

Gazprom also identified the countries that had spent the most resources, among them Germany, the Netherlands, and France.

Earlier it became known that, according to GIE data on February 17, 24.87% of the resource remained in France's UGS, which is equivalent to about 3.2 billion cubic meters. However, it is believed that the country is among the top five in terms of storage capacity. It is clarified that the rest of Europe, which are leaders in terms of storage capacity, are also rapidly emptying stocks.
