A number of American companies will participate in SPIEF 2025

American companies will participate in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) 2025, which will be held from June 18 to 21. This was announced on April 3 on the website of the event organizer, the Roscongress Foundation.
They noted that Anton Kobyakov, Adviser to the President of Russia, met with the President and Chief Executive Officer of the American Chamber of Commerce in the Russian Federation (AmCham Russia) in Moscow By Robert Agee. They discussed the current state and prospects of business cooperation.
Kobyakov stressed that Russia is open to partnership, and if desired, companies can return to the Russian market within the framework of the current legal framework. He pointed out the importance of transparency in the process and the need for businesses to adhere to the principles of integrity and responsibility.
"Despite the decrease in the presence of American companies at the Forum after 2021, representatives of the US business community continue to participate in the event, and a number of companies are expected to participate in 2025. Initiative applications have already been received, which confirms the interest in dialogue and interaction," said the adviser to the Russian leader.
The Executive Director of AmCham Russia confirmed the intention of the Chamber of Commerce to continue cooperation. He noted that the multipolar world is based on values common to the people and business communities, which create the foundation for a sustainable and mutually beneficial dialogue.
During the dialogue, Kobyakov and Agee also discussed the possible participation of AmCham Russia in the Russian Energy Week and other projects of the Roscongress Foundation.
Earlier, on March 21, it was reported that Kobyakov and Indonesian Ambassador to Russia Jose Antonio Morato Tavares discussed the participation of the Indonesian delegation in SPIEF 2025 and other congress and exhibition events. During the meeting, a proposal was also made to place a country stand at the SPIEF site, which could demonstrate Indonesia's investment opportunities, its projects in tourism and other industries to the guests and participants of the forum.
