Owners of unofficially imported Rox 01 cars will receive technical support

Owners of Rox 01 SUVs that were imported to Russia unofficially will be able to receive technical support from authorized dealers as part of the promotion. This is stated in the message of the Russian representative office of the Chinese concern Sinomach Auto, which is engaged in the implementation of Rox in the Russian Federation, received by Izvestia on April 3.

The after-sales service program is offered for vehicles (Rox 01 and Polar Stone 01) that were imported into the Russian Federation using an alternative method, purchased in 2024 and registered with the traffic police until January 1, 2025. It will be possible to apply for it from official dealers of the brand only until May 31, the price will be 50 thousand rubles.

The program includes software updates to the latest version with the option to select a Russian-language interface, integration into the Rox Motor plant diagnostic system database to provide technical support and certified spare parts, as well as activation of the Bluetooth dongle function for a mobile phone.

The Rox 01 is available in two trim levels, with a price starting at 9.17 million rubles. The SUV has a 1.5 petrol engine that is not connected to the wheels and acts as a generator. The power plant with a total capacity of 476 hp (740 Nm) consists of a CATL battery (56 kWh), two electric motors on each axle and a classic internal combustion engine.

On February 24, Sinomach Auto announced that with the start of sales of Rox 01 SUVs in Russia, the Chinese automaker has implemented a control system for vehicles not intended for the local market. If such vehicles are found outside of China, all multimedia screens are turned off with a recommendation to contact dealers. Sales of Rox 01 cars in Russia began on February 18.
