The last residents were evacuated from the village of Grafovka in the Krasnoyaruzhsky district of the Belgorod region due to shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). They remained in the danger zone, despite the recommendations of the local authorities. This was announced on April 3 by the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov.
"The last residents were taken out, who, unfortunately, refused to comply with the recommendations of the authorities a few weeks ago, putting their lives at risk, putting the lives of other people at risk, who then tried to evacuate them several times. There are people who died as a result of evacuation attempts," he said on his Telegram channel.
According to Gladkov, seven civilians have been injured in the region over the past day. Five received all necessary medical care, and two are in the hospital. He also noted that it is necessary to treat the situation with understanding.
"As soon as it improves, we will immediately bring the information and return to our homes," the governor said.
A civilian was injured on April 2 as a result of a drone attack Ukrainian Armed Forces on the village of Murom, Belgorod region. The man was taken to the Shebekinsky Central regional hospital with a fractured hip and blind shrapnel wounds to his legs. Subsequently, it is planned to send him to the city hospital No. 2 in Belgorod.
