Residents of Transbaikalia were warned about strong winds

Adverse weather conditions are forecast in Transbaikalia. Wind strengthening is expected on Friday, April 4. This was warned in the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the region.

On this day, the wind may increase to 20 m/s with gusts. Residents of the region were advised to be careful, observe fire safety measures, do not burn dry grass and do not make bonfires, writes ChitaMedia news agency.

Earlier, on April 3, it was reported that in the Chita region of the Trans-Baikal Territory, a forest fire with an area of 1 thousand hectares could not be extinguished for three days. The fire was recorded on March 30 on the territory of the Novotroitsk district forestry at a distance of 52 km from the settlement on an area of 50 hectares.
