The Prosecutor General's Office has declared the work of the Elton John AIDS Foundation, which was founded by British musician Elton John, undesirable in Russia. This was announced on April 3 on the website of the press service of the department.

"A decision has been made to recognize the undesirable activities of the Elton John AIDS Foundation non-governmental organizations. The organization was originally established in 1992 in the United States," the statement said.

The ministry clarified that since the beginning of the special military operation (SVO), organizations have actively participated in the Western information campaign to denigrate Russia.
