In 2025 and 2026, the construction and reconstruction of seven city railway stations will be completed in the capital, said Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.

We are talking about the stations Petrovsko-Razumovskaya, Moscow City, Tsaritsyno, Kurskaya, Sickle and Hammer, Zheleznodorozhnaya and Begovaya.

In addition, in the next two years, renovation work will be completed in the building of the passenger terminal of Leningradsky Railway Station.

The process of modernization of the IDC rolling stock is also nearing its final stage. "We will start updating the trains of the Yaroslavl direction of the Moscow Railways," Sobyanin added.

Earlier in April, the mayor announced plans for the development of the capital's metro. So, in 2025, it is planned to open four stations of the Troitskaya line in Moscow — Vavilovskaya, Akademicheskaya, Krymskaya and ZIL. The Stolbovo electric depot, which will serve the Sokolnicheskaya and Troitskaya lines, will also be put into operation. This year, the construction of the Yuzhnoye electric depot in Brateev will be completed.
