Power supply restored in Irkutsk region after Tu-22M3 plane crash

In the settlements of the Irkutsk region, the supply of electricity was restored, which was disrupted as a result of the crash of the Tu-22M3 aircraft. This was announced by Governor Igor Kobzev on Thursday, April 3.
As a result of the incident, three social facilities, including a secondary school, were left without electricity in the village of Buret, but this did not affect the educational process. The problems were also fixed earlier in the villages of Sredny and Novomaltinsk.
"Utility resources are now available to those settlements that have been de—energized," the governor said in a Telegram message.
Kobzev thanked the power engineers, stressing that they had been working all night and morning.
The Tu-22M3 plane crashed the day before during a scheduled flight. Four crew members were able to eject, but one of them died on landing. The plane crashed in a deserted area.
