US President Donald Trump has announced the imminent signing of a decree on mutual trade duties with all countries in the world. He announced this on March 2 during his address.
"In a few minutes, I will sign a historic decree on the introduction of mutual duties for countries around the world. Mutual! That means they're doing it to us, and we're doing it to them. Very simple. It couldn't be easier," Trump said.
He noted that the profits earned will be used to pay off the national debt and reduce taxes for American citizens.
"This will be a truly golden age for America. He's coming back. We will return very decisively," concluded the American leader.
Trump also announced that duties of 25% on all foreign-made cars will be imposed in the United States from midnight.
On March 26, US President Donald Trump announced the introduction of 25% duties in the United States on all cars and trucks manufactured outside the country. He clarified that these measures will come into force on April 2 and will be added to the existing ones. The White House estimates that approximately $100 billion in annual duties will be collected.
