The final stage of fountain preparation for the opening of the season has begun in Moscow. This was announced on Wednesday, April 2, by the Deputy Mayor of the capital for Housing and Communal Services and landscaping, Peter Biryukov.

According to him, specialists of the municipal economy complex conducted a thorough inspection of structures located underground and in the collectors of structures in the autumn after the fountains were preserved, Moscow 24 notes. Scheduled repairs of electromechanical equipment and underwater lighting, as well as control systems and automation of all communications were carried out, and hydraulics were diagnosed, the Moscow City News Agency reports.

In addition, filters and jet-forming elements, pumping equipment were put in order, ventilation and heating systems of pumping stations were checked, the website writes kp.ru .

"We usually launch fountains at the end of April, so we started the final stage of preparatory activities," Biryukov said.

In December, the Vitali fountain was repaired in the center of Moscow. According to him, the Vitali fountain, located on Teatralnaya Square, is one of the oldest.
