On Cosmonautics Day, the launch of the Soyuz MS-27 spacecraft will be shown at VDNH

More than 30 events dedicated to Cosmonautics Day are planned at VDNKh. From April 8 to 13, documentary and feature film screenings, thematic excursions and lectures will be held for visitors, said Natalia Sergunina, Deputy Mayor of the capital.

"Muscovites and tourists will be able to take part in the All-Russian Space Dictation, learn about Yuri Gagarin's life story and see footage of the launch of the Soyuz MS—27 manned spacecraft," Sergunina added.

*On April 8, the Cosmonautics and Aviation Center* will offer a video recording of the preparation process for the Soyuz MS-27 spacecraft, separation from earth and acceleration.

On April 12, the entrance to the Cosmonautics and Aviation center will be made free for guests with the names Yuri and Valentina. The All-Russian Space dictation will also be organized here, which will be conducted by Hero of Russia cosmonaut Fyodor Yurchikhin.

The entrance to the interactive museum complex "Buran" on April 12 will be free for everyone.

Guided tours are organized at more than 10 VDNH venues, where participants will learn about significant dates in the history of the exploration of the Universe, past and current space industry projects, and the achievements of astronauts.

The lectures will tell about the mysteries of different galaxies and about the works of artists who were impressed by the endless starry space. The Cinema Museum will show themed films, including "The Moon" and "Mars" directed by Pavel Klushantsev.

VDNH visitors will also be offered to follow the route using a special map, which can be obtained at the arch of the Main Entrance information center, and complete tasks. Points will be awarded for each of them, which will be exchanged for prizes.
