In Yakutia, they began to reduce the carrying capacity of ice crossings

In Yakutia, a phased reduction in the carrying capacity of ice crossings on the federal highways A-331 Vilyu and R-504 Kolyma is beginning. The republican Ministry of Transport informs about this in its Telegram channel.
We are talking about crossings across the Lena River Yakutsk – Nizhny Bestyakh, across the Vilyui River near the villages of Verkhnevilyuysk, Kundyadya, Suntar and Krestyakh, as well as across the Aldan River. From April 3, their carrying capacity will be reduced to 30 tons, and from April 10 to 20 tons.
Winter roads of regional and inter-municipal importance, as well as in the northern and Arctic regions, will gradually reduce the load capacity from April 10. Five days later, on the 15th, it is planned to completely close all ice crossings and winter trucks in the central regions of Yakutia, and on April 20-25 — in the Arctic and northern regions.
According to IA YakutiaMedia, the dates can be adjusted based on the actual state of the ice cover and weather conditions.
On April 1, it was reported that almost all seasonal roads, including ice crossings, had already been closed in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug.
