The process of receiving payments for emergency victims has been simplified in the Krasnoyarsk Territory

The Krasnoyarsk Territory has simplified the procedure for receiving payments for victims of regional and inter-municipal emergencies. This is reported by the regional Ministry of Economy and Regional Development.

Now you do not need to apply for a lump sum payment. According to the new rules, local governments must independently collect the necessary documents and submit them to the Ministry of Social Policy. On their basis, funds will be transferred to the victims.

"The new rules were developed as part of the implementation of the federal project "State for People" and meet the standards of human-centricity. They are designed to speed up the provision of assistance to victims and make the process simpler and more transparent," explained Leonid Shorokhov, Deputy chairman of the regional government.

The authorities also decided to increase the amount of compensation. Thus, the payment for completely lost property will amount to 150 thousand rubles per person, while previously paid 100 thousand rubles per family, and for partially lost essential property — 75 thousand rubles per person (previously provided for 50 thousand rubles per family), writes KrasnoyarskMedia news agency.

Funds for the provision of one-time financial assistance to victims of emergencies are allocated from the reserve fund of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

On March 29, it was reported that the government of the Russian Federation adopted draft resolutions prepared by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, according to which, from April 1, 2025, the amount of financial assistance to victims in emergency situations will be indexed by 4.5%.
