The OSCE called the burning of Fedorchak's grave an insult to the memory of the journalist.

Those who set fire to the grave of Izvestia correspondent Alexander Fedorchak, who died in the area of the special military operation, insulted the memory of the journalist with their actions. This was announced to Izvestia on April 2 at the office of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE).

"The OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media, His Excellency Ambassador Jan Bratu, is saddened by the news of these recent events, which offend the memory of the journalist," the letter says.
