NATO Secretary General announced the allocation of €20 billion to Ukraine from the beginning of 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, NATO countries allocated about €20 billion for military assistance to Ukraine. This was announced on April 2 by the Secretary General of the bloc Mark Rutte.

"In the first three months alone, about €20 billion was allocated to support security for 2025," the Secretary General stressed, his speech was broadcast on the alliance's YouTube channel.

Rutte added that NATO will continue to support Kiev and welcomes US efforts to resolve the conflict.

German Foreign Minister Annalena Burbock said on April 1 that Germany would provide Ukraine with more than €11 billion in military aid up to and including 2029. In addition, on March 26, French President Emmanuel Macron announced that Paris would provide additional €2 billion in military aid to Kiev.

On March 2, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov drew attention to the fact that European countries do not want the conflict in Ukraine to end and demand "the continuation of the banquet."
