Alexey Urazov's new book is presented in Moscow

A new book "From Suez to Camp David. The confrontation between the USA and the USSR in the Middle East in 1950-1970." by the Russian historian Alexei Urazov. This was announced on April 2 by the AST publishing house.

"From Suez to Camp David" is a new look at the dynamics of events in the third quarter of the twentieth century in the Middle East and an analysis of the foreign policy strategies of two superpowers - the United States and the USSR," Urazov said.

He added that the pages of the book deal with secret negotiations between the political leaders of the countries, military coups and economic processes. The new book continues to explore the fundamental foreign policy trends in the development of one of the most important regions in the key decades of the Cold War.

In 2019, Urazov published the book A Time for Change. It analyzes the foreign policy of the United States and Great Britain in the Greater Middle East in the first decades of the Cold War.

Alexey Urazov is a Russian international historian, specialist in strategic communications and public relations, and media manager. Candidate of Historical Sciences, author of scientific articles on the history of international relations.
