- The government will allocate 16 billion rubles to help residents of the Kursk region

The Russian government will additionally allocate about 16 billion rubles to support residents of the Kursk region who have lost their homes. This was announced on April 2 by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin at a government meeting.
It is specified that these funds can be used for the purchase or construction of new houses and apartments.
"We hope that these resources will help families solve this problem and return to a normal life," Mishustin said.
Earlier in the day, it was reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the Russian government to develop a program for the restoration of infrastructure facilities in the Kursk region by July 1. Putin also called for a monthly payment of 65,000 rubles by April 10 for citizens who have lost their homes and other property as a result of the actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the region.
On March 13, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced that the government would allocate 2.5 billion rubles to the Kursk Region to support the affected industrial enterprises. According to him, this decision will speed up the resumption of production in the border areas and ensure compliance with social guarantees for citizens.
Prior to that, in February, Mishustin signed a decree allocating about 44 billion rubles for payments to residents of the Kursk region who had lost essential property.
