Decision on temporary withdrawal of CPC (Caspian Pipeline Consortium) oil berths The incident in Novorossiysk is related to attacks by Ukrainian drones on infrastructure facilities. This was announced by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov at a briefing on April 2.

Earlier on Wednesday, Transneft announced the closure of the oil berth for 90 days after inspections conducted in connection with the oil spill. A similar decision was previously made regarding the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC).

"This is due to the damage that was inflicted on the CPC infrastructure after the strikes by Ukrainian drones. There is no need to forget about this," the presidential press secretary explained.

The day before, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told Russian President Vladimir Putin about Ukraine's failure to comply with the moratorium on strikes on energy. According to the Foreign Minister, he reported this to the head of state during a meeting of the Security Council together with Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov.

At the same time, Lavrov noted that Russia adheres to the agreement with US President Donald Trump 100%.
