Actress and director Natalia Nazarova has died.


Natalia Nazarova, a Russian actress, director and screenwriter, died at the age of 56. This was announced on April 2 by the rector of GITIS Grigory Zaslavsky.
"Natalia Nazarova has died," Zaslavsky told TASS.
The artist was born in 1969 in Ramenskoye, Moscow region, graduated from GITIS in 1995 and soon began teaching at the institute. She starred in the film "Postal Paradise", and also worked on the films "The Lion's Share", "Lola and the Marquis", "Lapushki". As a screenwriter, she participated in the creation of Rusalka, Ranetok, and Cosmonaut's Grandson. Among her directorial works are the films "Daughter", "Simple Pencil", "District Center".
For her contribution to culture, Nazarova was awarded the medal "For her Work in Culture and Art."
