The United Kingdom has imposed sanctions against Natalia Paraski, leader of the Moldovan opposition Vozrozhdenie party. The corresponding message was posted on the British government's website on April 2.

Paraska was included in the sanctions lists as a member of the board of the autonomous non-profit organization (ANO) Eurasia, against which restrictions were also imposed. In addition to the head of Vozrozhdenie, the sanctions affected the director of ANO Nelly Parutenko, as well as Moldovan MP Marina Tauber.

The British government cites the ties of Eurasia and Moldovan politicians with Ilan Shor, the leader of the Pobeda opposition bloc, who is already under the sanctions regime, as the reason for the restrictions.

Earlier, on February 24, the United Kingdom extended the anti-Russian sanctions to 67 individuals and legal entities, as well as to 40 vessels. In particular, Denis Popov, Deputy head of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, Natalia Tyurina, CEO of the Tsargrad TV channel, businessmen Andrey Kuzyaev, Roman Trotsenko and Igor Kim, as well as North Korean Defense Minister Noh Gwang Chol, were placed under restrictions in London.
