Igor Shalimov was appointed to the post of head coach of Voronezh football club (FC) Fakel. This was announced on the club's website on April 2.

"Igor Mikhailovich has signed an agreement with our football club and will take the position of head coach," the publication says.

Previously, he headed the clubs "Krasnoznamensk", "Uralan", "Krasnodar", "Khimki", "Akhmat" and "Ural".

On March 30, it was reported that Dmitry Pyatibratov left the post of head coach of the Fakel football club. He announced his retirement to the team immediately after the game.
