Vechernyaya Moskva will host the second season of the First in the Media project

The Moscow Evening Moscow media holding has won a grant from the Russian movement of Children and Youth "Movement of the First" for the implementation of a career guidance project for teenagers who are considering a career in the field of media.

The project "The first in the media. Victory!" is a continuation and consistent development of the "First in the Media" project. In 2024, more than 5,000 schoolchildren expanded their understanding of media professions. The new season of the project was a response to numerous requests from participants to continue and deepen their career guidance in the field of media.

The second stage of the project is being implemented in the Year of Defender of the Fatherland, the year of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The activities of the participants and the information part of the project are based around the preservation of historical memory.

The mission of the First in Media project is to form a new generation of value-oriented media industry professionals. To this end, the project implements a set of activities: guided tours to the media offices, lectures, master classes, testing, participants working in mini-groups with curators, holding a teleconference and the final solemn event at the Victory Museum.

The Russian Movement of Children and Youth was formed by order of Russian President Vladimir Putin, and its founding meeting was held on July 20, 2022.

The Movement of the First received its name following the results of voting at the First Congress of the Russian Movement of Children and Youth in Moscow, which was held from December 18 to December 20. The delegates also approved 12 areas of work and 11 common values, including "Life and Dignity", "Patriotism", "Goodness and Justice", "Creative Work", "Strong family" and others. Among the main missions of the participants are "To be with Russia", "To be human", "To be together", "To be on the Move", "To be the first".
