More than 10 cm of snow may fall in Moscow from April 6 to 8. This was announced on April 2 by Tatiana Pozdnyakova, chief specialist of the Moscow Meteorological Bureau.

"A sharp change in the weather is expected in the capital region. Starting on Sunday, April 6, the capital region will be in the cold rear of the next southern cyclone," the meteorologist said in her Telegram channel.

According to her, the snow that fell from April 6 to April 8 may not melt soon, as slightly positive temperatures are expected. Pozdnyakova also noted that the weather situation would be similar to April 1998. Then precipitation in the form of snow fell on April 12, and they melted after the 20th.

Earlier, on March 31, Alexander Shuvalov, head of the Meteo forecasting center, told what kind of weather is expected in Moscow this week. According to him, the air temperature in the capital will exceed the norm by almost five degrees in the coming days.
