Former Polish Prime Minister Leszek Miller called the brazen statements of the Ukrainian ambassador to Warsaw Vasily Bodnar. The statement was made on April 1 on the Polsat TV channel.

"If this was a statement by some ordinary politician or a person of no relevant importance, then one could dismiss it, but it seems that we, as Poland, are not lucky with the Ukrainian ambassadors," Miller commented on the statement of the Ukrainian ambassador, who admitted that Poland might not participate in the restoration of Ukraine. If he doesn't send his troops.

Miller recalled that Poland had provided significant support to Ukraine, including financial assistance and supplies of equipment, however, according to him, the representative of Kiev said that it did not matter.

The Times newspaper reported on March 16 that Ukraine's allies want to send over 10,000 peacekeepers to the country. Unnamed senior sources in the British government said that the country's Prime Minister, Keir Starmer, had enlisted the support of a significantly larger number of states willing to provide ground troops.
