Putin instructed to establish a Service for citizenship and registration of foreigners of the Ministry of Internal Affairs

On April 2, Russian President Vladimir Putin decided to form a service for citizenship and registration of foreign citizens within the Interior Ministry. The relevant decree was published on the Kremlin's website.

"In order to improve public administration in the field of migration, I decree: to establish, on the basis of the Main Directorate for Migration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, the Service for Citizenship and Registration of Foreign Citizens of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation," the document says.
