Nine freight wagons derailed in Krasnoyarsk Region

In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, nine freight wagons derailed near the Zeledeevo station. This was announced on April 2 by the West Siberian Transport Prosecutor's Office in the Telegram channel.

According to preliminary information, in the area of the Zeledeyevo station of the Krasnoyarsk Railway, nine wagons derailed, which were loaded with black scrap metal, without tipping them over. As a result, the incident affected the delay of trains.

"The causes and circumstances of the event are being established. Recovery trains from Achinsk and Krasnoyarsk stations have been sent to restore traffic to the site," the message says.

On March 15, freight train cars derailed in the Amur region and collided with an oncoming train. It was clarified that the driver of the oncoming train was injured in the collision. A criminal case has been opened on this fact under Article 263 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of the rules of traffic safety and operation of railway transport").
