Deputy Aksakov urged to stop the scheme of cheating cashback

Financial schemes involving the return of goods for which the client has already received cashback must be stopped. This opinion was expressed on April 1 by Anatoly Aksakov, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on the Financial Market.
"The issue needs to be adjusted. Well, for now, measures are being discussed — for example, the formation of a database of such individuals and, accordingly, the restriction of the sale of goods with cashback to them," he said in an interview with TASS.
Aksakov stressed that the scheme "bought at a discount, returned without a discount" should be limited. At the same time, banning cashback as a whole is unlikely to solve the problem, because organizations will look for other ways to attract customers, the deputy noted.
Peter Shcherbachenko, an economist and associate professor at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, told on Friday, January 31, how to save money for a vacation. According to him, it would be useful to use bank cards with cashback accrual in miles or rubles for purchases.
