NMG Film Distribution has announced the sequel to Red Silk

The International Film Market and the Russian Film Business Forum started in Moscow on April 1. Over the course of three days, Cinema Park Mosfilm hosts presentations and screenings of films by leading film distribution companies in Russia and the CIS. NMG Film Distribution was one of the first to show the main future releases.

First class: Red Silk's fees exceeded 500 million rubles

The film was watched by more than a million viewers in cinemas.

The NMG Film Distribution company has announced that the Russian-Chinese detective story "Red Silk" will receive a sequel. In the first film, which premiered in February 2025, the main setting was the Trans-Siberian express in the late 20s of the last century.

The presentation showed a teaser of the sequel, which was called "Black Silk". Now the heroes will have to intercept the cargo on a huge liner, otherwise a world war may begin. Andrey Volgin will take over the director's chair again. Milos Bikovic, Elena Podkaminskaya, Gleb Kalyuzhny, Zheng Hanyi will return to their roles. Actor Maxim Matveev will also join the team in the role of the young Richard Sorge.
