The relations between China and Russia are characterized by stability and possess a powerful internal impulse. This was stated on Tuesday, April 1, by Sun Xiuwen, associate professor at the Institute of Central Asian Studies at Lanzhou University.

"The more turbulent and complicated the world becomes, the closer the strategic coordination between China and Russia becomes. This indicates a strong internal momentum in Sino-Russian relations, which are resistant to external changes," the Global Times newspaper quoted her as saying.

China and the Russian Federation not only defend the correct view of history, but also jointly support the UN-oriented international system, the political scientist believes.
