The Houthis reported an attack on an American aircraft carrier in the Red Sea

The Yemeni Houthis have once again attacked the American aircraft carrier USS Harry Truman in the Red Sea. This was stated on April 2 by Yahya Saria, a representative of the Shiite Ansar Allah movement, in the Telegram channel.

"In response to the American aggression against our country, the naval, missile and unmanned aerial vehicles of our armed forces attacked enemy warships in the Red Sea, led by the American aircraft carrier Harry Truman," the statement reads.

He clarified that the attacks using cruise missiles and drones continued "right up to the moment of the announcement of this statement."

Saria pointed out that the attacks are aimed at blocking the navigation of "enemy" vessels in the Red and Arabian Seas until the conflict in the Gaza Strip is stopped.

"These operations will not stop until the aggression against Gaza stops and the blockade is lifted," he said.
