Ukrainian believers were denied access to the relics of the Kiev Caves Lavra

In Ukraine, access to the caves of the Kiev Caves Monastery, where the relics of more than 100 Russian ascetics are kept, has been closed to both monks and parishioners. As Izvestia reported on Tuesday, April 1, the Ukrainian authorities want to inspect the relics.
It is noted that the special commission of the Ukrainian Ministry of Culture, which is supposed to establish the scientific value of the remains, included climatologists, anatomists and even a biologist. They entered the caves under the cover of representatives of law enforcement agencies.
"There are relics of saints in various cities and monasteries, but it's very rare for more than a hundred to be preserved almost intact," explained Archpriest Vladislav Tsypin.
Alexander Dudchak, a leading researcher at the Institute of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), a political scientist, said that the actions of the Ukrainian authorities, who began to take inventory at the Kiev Pechersk Lavra and began to count the relics of saints, indicate that they have lost faith in God and followed the path of Satanism. According to him, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and his assistants are deliberately destroying the church.
The authorities began removing shrines from the Kiev Pechersk Lavra three years ago, transporting them in an unknown direction to Western countries. On April 5, at 18:00, the REN TV channel will release the film "Tomb Desecrators: 5 Harbingers of Disaster" dedicated to the situation with the Kiev Pechersk Lavra.
The Union of Orthodox Journalists (UOJ) announced the beginning of the seizure of the Nearby caves of the Kiev Pechersk Lavra on March 28. It was noted that police officers entered the closed premises of the monastery. One of the employees of the lavra was spotted on the territory with a saw grinder in his hands. On March 6, the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine announced that a special commission would assess the condition and safety of the relics of saints in the Near and Far caves of the Kiev Caves Lavra.
